  • "My Black is Beautiful" Natural Beauty Pageant

    An all natural cutie pageant for kids. The pageant encourages young kids to love themselves just they way they are and that beauty is found on the inside. The show consists of modeling, talent and a question and answer segment. For ages 0-12yrs. While other Hi-Glitz pageants allow for false hair, nails and teeth this no-glitz pageant does not. Must be your natural cute self. (1:00pm)
  • "Battle on the Bluff" Step & Dance Competition

    Dance Competition features community dance and step organizations ranging from grades K-12th that compete in step, pom, hip-hop, jazz, and majorette categories for 1st,2nd, and 3rd place. (4:00pm)
  • Corvette Car & Bike Show

    An all corvette and bike car show competition. With car and bike owners competing in categories such as classic, modern & whipped. The show allows the public to vote on their favorite car and bike. (Winner announced at 4:00pm)

    Student Invention Competition: Are you America’s next great inventor? Memphis Black Expo’s KidVentions Student Contest is to encourage students in grades K-12 to demonstrate their creativity and ingenuity.

    Competitors have the option to re-invent an invention by an African American Inventor or submit their own original invention.

    The deadline for entries is March 9, 2014! Enter any idea for a new way to demonstrate an educational concept, an idea for a new product, or an improvement for an existing product or procedure.

    Winners Receive:
    Free Patent & Information Kit
    Free Consultation With A Patent Attorney
    Awards For 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place
    The teacher/mentor of the Winners will receive a prize, as well.

    Nashville’s most popular beauty pageant for voluptuous women, is coming to Memphis!
